ABD, of Alphabetix won the first GMC heat at Smokestack last week, beating off competition from Ill-literate, Lip (DS Fam) and heat runner-up Guest House.
ABD now goes into the Golden Mic final later in the year and will battle it out again with the winners from April & May’s heats. It was a very close call between all the artists and a lot of deliberating from the judges took place to decide on the overall winner for the heat.
The Golden Mic Challenge will return on 2nd April @ Smokestack, Leeds with Fourny P, Leady, Eurgh & Fear testing their skills in the interdisciplinary MC challenges of Cypher, pre-written and more.
