Writing only about subjects that he feels, 10Shott’s material could never be confused with the countless ‘stereotypical’ rappers who appear to specialise in regurgitating tracks about gangs, guns and the hood which totally saturated the market. The anthemic track ‘Tin Soldiers’ was written whilst on tour and recorded September ‘07 and was inspired by one of 10Shott’s close friends who told of his harrowing experiences whilst on a recent tour of duty. The resulting masterpiece is a hard hitting, no punches pulled account of the war on Iraq written from one soldiers perspective. ‘Tin Soldiers’ exposes what everyone knows to be the facts and the reasons behind the war demonstrating yet again 10Shott’s truthful no compromise approach to subjects not yet touched.

Utilising speech extracts from world-renowned peace activist Tony Benn, 10Shott immediately received full written support from Tony Benn, George Galloway and the multinational ‘Stop The War’ organisation. Tony Benn was quoted as saying that, “the message within 10shott’s song would ensure this crucial message exposing the lies we are expected to swallow, would reach audiences unavailable to the establishment,” and that, “its musical content would travel globally”.

Gaining momentum 10Shott scored and directed an accompanying ‘groundbreaking’ part animation video which was premiered on ‘Press TV’ going out to over 8 million people March 08…

MTV Base heard of the viewing and requested a copy in May 08 which they are now rotating on their ‘From The Ends’ show.
