In October 2007’s HHC they said, ‘If magical talent has anything to do with success 10shott is the future of UK rap’ I mean what a statement to live up to, the future of UK rap? But to be fair HHC have been big fans of 10Shott since the turn of century when he was part of VICIOUS CIRCLE who’s 2001 classic album ‘Bagged Out’, received a 5/5 review in Hip Hop Connection, and 5/5 reviews in HHC are as regular as a constipated old man who forgot to drink his prune juice. Hailed as ‘the one to watch’ and tipped by many in the UK scene, 10SHOTT is proving to be simply unstoppable!

The track gets under way with a simple but very catchy piano sample and provides the uplifting back bone to the whole song, 10Shott’s flow & subject matter has definitely matured too and he seems to be improving his musical ability with every release. The song is about when his mind won’t work properly due to all the distractions and interruptions in his life, and vocal effects are used well to narrate his sub-conscious telling parts of the tale. With a good use of humor and originality the song is an instant hit and the production is of a very high standard, this is going to be a real monster single when it’s released in early 2008.

Recently signed to Zy Records Memory Blank is a great fore-runner to his eagerly anticipated album.
