Dubbledge – The Richest Man In Babylon (Low Life)

111427112.jpgDubbledge described himself as the oldest newcomer in Uk Hip Hop but from hearing this LP I’m surprised. Undoutebly the guy has a heap of talent and the album is a real change, as lot of UK Hip Hop that has been churned out over recent years have been a little on the depressing side.

Dubbledge came to the attention of many in the UK scene as an affiliate of the Foreign Beggars and when his deal with Casual Records fell through UK Hip Hop Heavyweights Low Life Records were quick to snap him up!

Dubbledge has built a reputation as a clever & witty MC and this album showcases his talents well. He has real knack of painting a picture with his words and a great use of metaphors and symbolism could well generate interest from indiviuals outside of the UK Hip Hop Scene. Production from big players such as Vadim really lift the album and there are some nice cameo appearances from Parky and Skrein.

Don’t sleep on Dubbledge!
