Electric Circus was absolutely dire apart from one or two songs!!! I actually really liked 'Be' personally, thought it was very inventive and a great return to form. But I have to agree with this one. It seems to be a cash in album. If the title was 'songs that didn't quite make it onto 'Be' I wouldn't have thought any different, because it just sounds as you say, very cliched and like he's just going through the motions. Not great. I do like 'The Game' and 'The People' though. And I loved The Shining by J-Dilla and 'So Far To Go' was originally on that so I'm a fan of that. 3 songs out of 14 is not a good win/loss record though. @wisdomtooth – what the hell???
