On the back of their recent EP “Disabled Blue” and their new “WY - mixtape” featuring some of West Yorkshire’s finest artists including Asaviour & Spida Lee, Don’t Talk to Strangers are creating a real buzz right now. With MC’s Mury Poppinz, Mr KFQ, Bane aka Darko, General Blight, Grae Matta, Rumple F.S, Watson G, beatboxers Megamouth & Ball-Zee, who recently won the Leeds heats of the Vauxhall Beatbox Contest, and DJ Gypsy on the decks their live show is something to be seen.
Representing the Cream of Huddersfield Hip Hop we welcome Jack Flash and his partner in rhyme J-Simple part of Groundwurq Entertaiment. Bringing together a mix of the old and new you’er sure to enjoy what’s on offer with the boys from Klinik Records.
Blessed House are an underground hip hop act from Leeds. The group is led primarily by duo Bibs and Guest House representing Emergency Services. Their sets are often made up of a combination of pre-written tracks as well as free-stlyes. They have appeared at various nights across Leeds including Deep Cuts and will be showing off their lyrical skills at this months Diff’rent Strokes.
DJ Analogue has been out there promoting the Leeds scene for a while now writing for several publications across Leeds and the UK, including Traffic Mag and Britishhiphop.co.uk , with a growing number of followers for his Straight Out Leodis Podcasts and his new Thursday Night Slot on HHBRadio, Analogue is on the up and up.
Let’s not forget the Diff’rent Strokes resident DJ’s either esSDee and IRN MNKY who will be digging into their vast record collection to cut it up for us again…
